If you have not met our friend Nick yet, you are missing out! Nick is 9 years old and a 4th grader at Sterling Elementary. He was born and raised in Charlotte. Nick comes to Blume to "receive treatment to get better" for Burkitt's Leukemia. Nick loves his family, saying that they are "the best!" He describes them as so nice, fun, and says that they love to celebrate together. When they get together for holidays, there are around 16 people!
Nick is a busy guy. He is a golfer—a good one! He loves to ride go karts, eat penne al a vodka (his favorite food), watch Phineas and Fern, go to the movies and Carowinds, and just have fun! He loves to spend time with Bo, his Grandad's yellow lab. If he could go anywhere in the world, he would choose to go to England. When he grows up, Nick would like to be a military man, and thinks that this works out wonderfully since his favorite color is green. Nick is looking forward to one day having a guinea pig and having a new house with his mom where he can "sit around and smell the house."
During his time at Hemby he made a good friend Cede, and said that her and her family are very important to him. He loves to come to Blume to see the nice people and play with the iPads; he loves to play "Talking Tom"! Nick is a wonderful friend and fun person to know...Nick keeps us smiling.
